Chalkboard Table

I've had this little table since I was a child.  It's been in the Rascals room lately and then recently moved to their play area.  And it just doesn't do anything for me. 

So I decided it needed some work.

I remembered that we had some chalkboard paint, found it, and went to town!

I sprayed it with three coats and then let it sit for 24 hours. I also had this fabric sitting around waiting for its time to shine so I sewed some pockets on the side and then Krazy glued it onto the table (I was a bit concerned about how the glue would hold up to the little crazies, but it has so far.)

And it's a hit... not only as a table to draw on, but also for a place to have tea and a place to hide.
